After years of research and development we have invented a disruptive technology that can produce and clean water more effectively than any other existing technology.
Our equipment utilizes proprietary digitally controlled algorithms that manage water processing inside the chambers.
Global Aqua Norma Ltd (Cyprus) holds patents and know-how for the technological process and equipment design and owns proprietary software.
WHAT WE DO
Where others provide Equipment we deliver Solutions.
Our solution are highly cost competitive.
Our technology is ideal for Water Desalination, Food and Beverages, Sewage & Municipal Waste treatment, Oil & Gas, Mining and Energy.
Al of this is truly “Green” Zero Liquid Discharge (“ZLD”) setting.
SEA WATER DESALINATION and BRINE MANAGEMENT
Desalination of seawater without brine or any other discharge back into sea or to environment
Desalination of brine produced by other desalination plants
Water supply to public and private customers at highly competitive prices
Supply of drinkable water of a superior quality with no bacteria, boron, ammonia, chlorine etc.
Wholesale of salt, produced during our desalination process
WATER TREATMENT
Industrial applications for water recycling.
Purification of polluted and industrial waste water. Extraction of valuable compounds from tailings.
De-activation of radioactive water.
SEWAGE-TO-ENERGY PRODUCTION De-hydration of sewage sludge, manure and other waste compounds for further energy production.
De-watering of dissolved solids.
Dehydration of corrosive solutions, such as salts and metal oxides.
OUR PROJECTS
We are proud of our team’s extensive experience in constructing and maintaining complex innovative water treatment projects.
No seawater pollution, no chemical treatment, no harm the environment.
Aradipou Water Desalination Plant Built and implemented a Water Desalination Plant based on our proprietary innovative water desalination technology to supply water to Aradipou municipality and large farming community which had evolved over the last few decades in Southern Cyprus.
The Project proved the technological ability to consistently and sustainably achieve quality and reliability performance indicators.
Operated from 2016 till 2017.
Capacity: 1,000 m3 of potable water per day
Produced 68,382 m3 of fresh water.
Extracted 1,232 ton of raw salt.
Energy consumption: 0.97kWh/m3 average.
Failure rate: 0% MBTF.
Water quality exceeded baseline of European Water Quality standards without any pre- and post- treatment processing.
Odorou Salt Project proved the technological ability to extract a by-product (pure sea salt) without any incremental expenditures. Another goal was to build and test business process of salt sales.
Operated from 2014 till 2015.
Produced 8, 742 m3 of desalinated fresh water.
Extracted 153 ton of raw salt.
Energy consumption: 0.94kWh/m3 average.
Failure rate: 0% MBTF.
Water quality exceeded baseline of European Water Quality standards without any pre- and post- treatment processing.
Kouklia Water Desalination Plant Built and implemented a Water Desalination Plant based on our proprietary innovative water desalination technology to supply water to Pafos area villages and the local farmers.
Projects proved the technological ability to create Scalable Modular Desalination Plant which functioned on the ground in outside conditions.
Operated from 2017 till 2020.
Capacity: 500 m3 of potable water per day.
Produced 523,400 m3 of fresh water.
Extracted 9,110 ton of sea salt.
Energy consumption: 0.96kWh/m3 average.
Failure rate: 0% MBTF.
Cyprus Ministry of Agriculture The Pilot Desalination Plant in the Municipality of Aradipou was put into operation in December 2016. The technology's functionality documented and certified by SGS, the world's leading verification and inspection firm, and the Ministry’s Technical Inspection.
After successful Pilot implementation, the Cyprus Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development & Environment awarded the Company with a commercial fresh water supply contract.
Capacity: 2,500 m3 of fresh water per day.
Annual production: 1,000,000 m3 of desalinated water.
Water Quality fully complied with EEC Council Directive No. 98/83.
MEET THE TEAM Our Management Team
The experienced professionals who achieve the goals and make the plans fulfilled.
R&D and Manufacturing: Matthaios Matthaiou str. 5, Agios Athanasios Municipality, 4101, Limassol, Cyprus
WHY
The world is running out of fresh water resources.
66 countries face extremely high water stress where withdrawals are more than 40% of the renewable supply.
1.8 billion people do not have access to clean, safe water.
28% of the global population drinks polluted water.
40% shortfall in water availability by 2030.
7 billion people will face water stress by 2050.
Environmentally safe desalination is the only solution to global water deficit.
OUR SERVICES
We believe in providing our customer end-to-end solution to meet their urgent needs.
HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT
Our technology has 4 major differentiators and advantages:
(1) It is 30-100% more energy efficient that Reverse Osmosis which in its turn is the most energy efficient among traditional desalination technologies;
(2) it is simpler technologically because it does not require sophisticated equipment, chemicals and membranes that necessary for reverse osmosis. It is "lego-type" solution that it is easily scalable and repairable/replaceable;
(3) it does not produce or discharge brine that has a salinity level 20-25% higher than sea/ocean and hence is highly hazardous and lethal for marine life;
(4) it produces fresh water absolutely safe for human consumption because it does not contain bacteria, viruses, ammonia, chlorine, boron, lead, mercury, deuterium etc.
FOR INVESTORS We are open to partnerships and aliances.
We can offer Investors options to participate in water desalination and water treatment Projects as well as develope our proprietary technology.

Moni Water Desalination Plant in Cyprus Decalination Facility in Moni (suburb of Limassol) was built to supply water to small and medium enterprises.
The desalination plant operates the modules based on our proprietary water technology. The plant was licensed as a water producer by Cyprus Water Development Department after careful review of the environmental impact assessment.
The technical parameters of the modules operated at the plant were inspected and confirmed by a world leading independent expert firm SGS (www.sgs.com).
The plant completely confirmed/proved the technological ability to create Scalable Modular Desalination Plant which functioned on the ground in outside.
